We are having our reception at a local art gallery/after school art program for kids - The pictures REALLY don't do the venue justice - it is very funky and will look great once we get our tables and everything else in.  We have use of the entry way, front desk (which will make an awesome looking bar - it even lights up!), and the gallery.  They are going to remove all the art on the floor - and we are undecided as to whether or not we want them to remove the wall art yet. 

We actually purchased our tablecloths from efavormart.com - we got a very good deal on them and they are very nice.  Best part is they were cheaper then renting and we can resell them after the wedding! - We opted for the ones in Chocolate for the dinner tables and cake table.  We unfortunately had to get ivory tablecloths for the buffett tables because we couldn't find ones in the size we needed for a decent price in the chocolate color.

Our centerpieces are going to be similar to this image (which I found via google images) - however we will have a few less candles and our petals will be green hydrangea petals and pink rose petals that we plan on ordering from flyboys.com.  Once I get a proper mock up picture of our centerpieces I will post them.  (credit for the picture goes to Mrs. Lemon @ weddingbee.com)

We are currently trying to find a vendor that does lighting design as we have decided to forgo our original plan of hanging xmas lights everywhere and instead go with uplighting.  We are wanting the room to basically be washed with pink light - and if we can find a good enough deal I would like to have timed light where it starts out sort of an amber color for the dinner than fades into a pink for the dancing portion of the reception.  (image via google images)
